The use of acid pickling paste is a common method for removing rust spots from stainless steel chains
The use of acid pickling paste is a common method for removing rust spots from stainless steel chains. Although it is commonly used for stainless steel chains, once our stainless steel chains are frequently exposed to humid environments or other corrosive liquids, they will more or less develop rust spots. So how should we deal with the rust spots on stainless steel chains. Now let's find a solution together
The use of acid pickling paste is a common method for removing rust spots from stainless steel chains. The reason why it is so popular is because it greatly improves the smoothness of the chain surface, forming a passivation film on the chain surface. As a result, the service life of our stainless steel chains is also extended. This rust removal method is suitable for most industries such as chemical machinery, food machinery, printing and dyeing machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, and pressure vessel manufacturing.
We will also briefly explain the operation of using acid pickling paste. First, apply our acid pickling paste on the surface of the stainless steel chain. Remember, at this time, the coating thickness should be controlled between 0.5-2mm, and the time should be controlled for 3-10 minutes or more. If the temperature is low in winter, below 0 ¡æ, or in areas with thick oxide skin, the time can be appropriately extended. It is recommended to use a brush to scrub the stainless steel chain several times during this process. After the oxide scale on the surface of the stainless steel chain is completely removed, clean the chain with clean water, lime water or alkaline water to avoid rusting.
